Head coach Mike Shanahan declined to comment on media reports on Sunday that Fred Davis and Trent Williams would be suspended the remainder of the season due to violating the NFL's substance abuse policy.

Asked about the reports following the Redskins' game against the New York Jets, Shanahan replied: "Well, number one, I've received no information about it, so I can't comment on it at this time."

He added: "But I will comment on it in the next day or two depending on what has happened."
