Today, Captain Ashley A. coincidentally ran into Washington Redskins Cheerleader Alumni, Carol at the ladies' official hair salon & sponsor Robert Andrew.
Carol towed the November issue of Washingtonian magazine to her appointment with pride to show her stylist, and Ashley just so happened to over-hear her talking to a manager about the magazine. The manager then realized they were both pictured in the article! And both in the same place at the same time!
While talking with Carol, Ashley learned that she began her tenure as a "Redskinette" in 1964 and she continued to represent the Washington Redskins until 1977! Hearing about her experience on the team and seeing her excitement, decades later, was truly touching. It is always amazing to talk with our WRC Alumni sisters and reflect on how they have paved the path for who the ladies are today!
