The Washington Redskins announced today that they have signed free agent wide receivers Donté Stallworth and Devery Henderson and free agent kicker John Potter.
Terms of the deals were not disclosed.
In addition, the team waived tight end Deangelo Peterson and defensive end Doug Worthington with injured designations.
Stallworth (6-0 200) was originally drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the first round (13th overall) of the 2002 NFL Draft.
He has appeared in 115 career games with 59 starts, amassing 321 receptions for 4,837 receiving yards (15.1 avg.) with 35 receiving touchdowns. Now entering his 11th NFL season, Stallworth has spent time as a member of the Saints (2002-05), Philadelphia Eagles (2006), Cleveland Browns (2008) and Baltimore Ravens (2010), and has spent two separate stints with both the Redskins (2011, 2013) and the New England Patriots (2007, 2012).
Stallworth was a member of the Redskins during the 2011 season, playing in 11 games and catching 22 passes for 309 yards with two receiving touchdowns.
Last season, he joined the Patriots as a free agent, appearing in one game and registering one reception, a 63-yard touchdown against the Houston Texans in Week 14.
Stallworth played collegiately at Tennessee from 1998-2001, compiling 99 receptions for 1,747 receiving yards and 13 receiving touchdowns.
As a junior in 2001, he earned second-team All-SEC honors after posting 41 receptions for 821 yards (20.0 avg.) and 10 touchdowns.
Stallworth, 32, was born on Nov. 10, 1980. He played wide receiver and cornerback Grant H.S. in Sacramento, Calif., where he was voted California Player of the Year and named as an All-State defensive back and USA Today honorable mention All-American as a senior.
Henderson (5-11, 200) was originally drafted by the Saints in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft (50th overall).
He spent his first nine NFL seasons with the team, playing 124 games with 76 starts and compiling 245 receptions for 4,377 receiving yards and 20 receiving touchdowns. Last season, Henderson appeared in 15 games with nine starts for the Saints, catching 22 passes for 316 yards with one touchdown.
Henderson played collegiately at LSU from 2000-03, appearing in 42 career games as both a wide receiver and a running back.
For his career, he caught 77 passes for 1,310 receiving yards (17.0 avg.) and 19 receiving touchdowns in addition to adding 433 rushing yards on 83 carries with three rushing touchdowns.
Henderson, 31, was born on March 26, 1982. He attended Opelousas (La.) H.S., where he rushed for 1,322 yards and 20 touchdowns as senior and was a two-time 100- and 200-meter champion in track.
Potter (6-1, 219) was originally drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft (251st overall).
He spent the first six weeks of the 2012 season as the Bills' kickoff specialist, kicking off 24 times with 13 touchbacks and an average distance of 66.8 yards.
Potter, 23, played collegiately at Western Michigan, where he converted 47-of-65 field goal attempts and 184-of-188 PATs to become the school's all-time leader for career points by a kicker (333).
He was born on Jan. 24, 1990, and attended Grand Haven (Mich.) H.S., where he was a 2007 All-State selection by the Detroit News.
