Hello Redskins fans!

Welcome to the 2010-11 season! My name is Vanessa, I am 25 years old and this is my third year with the Redskins, and my second with the honor of being a team captain. I was born in Jamaica, and spent a part of my childhood there, before moving to MD. I now split my time between MD and Washington, DC. I work for a non-profit organization, and I also coach a high school cheerleading squad (Go Cougars!).

My favorite pastimes include spending time with my amazing friends and (a new hobby of mine) exploring the many sights and attractions in Washington DC! I also love to take spontaneous, road trips to fun places. I have no children or pets, but I absolutely love all of my nieces and nephews! Prior to my time here with the Redskins, I was a cheerleader for our beltway rivals in Baltimore. I love football and I love cheerleading, and I am so blessed to have the opportunity to enjoy both as a part of this amazing team.

I am truly blessed and honored to be a part of the Washington Redskins family for another great year. I can't wait to see and meet you all this season. As always, Hail to the Redskins!!
