On his interception against the Ravens' Steve McNair (QB, #9) during the scrimmage:
"We ran a little blitz and we got some good pressure on McNair. I was just dropped in my zone and I don't think he saw me so he threw it right there, it was kind of a gimme almost, but guys made some good blocks and I was able to get out of there."
On how it felt to pull in an interception in front of fans at FedExField:
"It feels good. It feels good to come out and actually compete against some other guys and it's fun. The fans come out so everybody gets pumped up for it so it's fun."
On his other impressions of the scrimmage:
"It was nice to watch the young guys and see how they react in a game-type situation and give them an idea of how fast guys are really moving out there. Rocky McIntosh (LB, #52), Reed Doughty (S, #23) and those guys were able to make some plays out there so it was fun to watch."
On players who surprised him during the scrimmage:
"I think Karon Riley (DE, #75) had a pretty good day today and I want to say he had two sacks. Anytime you can come out and get two sacks, that's a real good day. Our running backs looked real good. Some of the younger backs did a good job, so it was fun watching those guys."
On what he can take away from today's action:
"I think you really learn a lot once you sit down and watch the film. You say, 'Hey, I was playing pretty fast' or 'Hey, I could've been playing a little faster, but it's also good to watch my tackles. Am I wrapping up? Am I driving my legs?' It's just the little things like that and you try to correct your mistakes."
On what improvements he thinks can be made on defense:
"I think we can play the run a little better on some of our blitzes. I think they broke one or two and they weren't for a bunch of yards but we like to take care of our stuff."
