Commanders fans showed up at the National Harbor to celebrate their team drafted Jayden Daniels and eight other rookies to make up the 2024 class.

The Washington Commanders and Bank of America joined forces with Habitat for Humanity Metro Maryland for a volunteer build day to support affordable housing and community projects in the local area. On Wednesday, April 17th, volunteers from the Washington Commanders and Bank of America rolled up their sleeves and donned their hard hats as they joined Habitat for Humanity to help with volunteer projects such as Allium Place, a new affordable housing community, and neighborhood engagement projects at Montgomery County Public Schools. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in the Commanders' and Bank of America's ongoing commitments to making a positive impact in the local community.

On Wednesday, June 14, the Washington Commanders announced a $75,000 donation to Digital Pioneers Academy to assist in the launch of its first-ever football program. Commanders President Jason Wright, Commanders players Saahdiq Charles, Kamren Curl, Jarrett Patterson, and Darrick Forest and Commanders Director of Alumni Engagement joined a student assembly on the Digital Pioneers Academy's last day of school.

Digital Pioneers Academy is a public charter school operating two campuses in the District of Columbia seeking fundraising support for the launch of its football program, expected to begin in the fall. The Commanders are proud to support this effort, particularly as the Digital Pioneers Academy community recovers from the recent loss of two students to gun violence.

On Wednesday, April 26, select Washington Commanders players Alex Akingbulu, Alex Erickson, Christian Holmes, Aaron Monteiro, Chris Paul, Keaton Sutherland, Casey Toohill, and Jonathan Williams, Command Force Veterans and Team Captains Crysten and Ashley, and Major Tuddy took a tour of the Pentagon. Throughout the month of October, the Washington Commanders recognized and supported breast cancer awareness, a cause that has always been near and dear to the franchise. Highlights of Breast Cancer Awareness Month included a panel featuring personal stories and expert insights at the National Museum of African American History, a THINK-PINK® game vs. the Titans, a mammogram van event at FedExField and the 14th annual All-Stars Survivors Celebration at Firefly Cellar Vineyards. Guided by the rallying cry and tagline "Command the Cure", programming this month focused on the importance of early detection, health equity and honoring those affected by the devastating disease.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Washington Commanders Charitable Foundation, in partnership with the American Cancer Society, hosted its 14th annual All-Star Survivors Celebration at Firefly Cellar Vineyards. Charles Leno Jr. and his wife Jen made a visit to Rose Hill Elementary School in Fairfax, Virginia for a special reading session. Leno sat with a group of first graders to read Russell Wilson and Ciara's children's book "Why Not You?". After finishing the book, Leno spent time discussing the kids' favorite parts and biggest takeaways. The Lenos capped off the afternoon by handing out books and swag bags filled with sunglasses, bracelets and more.

On Saturday, Aug. 6, the Commanders welcomed Josiah Desper, an 11-year-old football lover who recently finished his maintenance treatment for acute lymphoblastic leukemia, and his family for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at FedExField. On the night of the team's open practice, Josiah was invited into the locker room by Coach Rivera, met his favorite players, received a personalized jersey, ran drills on the field and more.
