Cesar Castillo is entering his first season as assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Commanders after spending the last two seasons with the Chicago Bears as a seasonal strength and conditioning coach.

He earned his masters of science in applied exercise science from Concordia University Chicago in 2024. Castillo spent the 2021 season as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the Miami Dolphins. Prior to his time in Miami, he spent two years (2018-20) with the Minnesota Twins as a strength and conditioning coach. He was a strength and conditioning intern at Harvard University in 2018 Castillo played fullback at the University of Miami from 2015-18.
