The Washington Commanders have named George Banko as defensive quality control coach.
Banko joins the Commanders after most recently serving as a football analyst for the University of Alabama. Banko began his career in football as a defensive graduate assistant for the program. Â
Banko attended Chancellor High School where he played defensive end/outside linebacker and graduated in 2016.
A native of Fredericksburg, Virginia., Banko completed his degree in business from Alabama in 2020.
