Alex Karamihas joins the Commanders after serving as the coordinator of football operations for the University of Maryland Terrapins in 2023. Karamihas spent four seasons as a football operations intern for the Terrapins under Head Coach Mike Locksley.

Karamihas primarily assisted with day-to-day operations of the organization and aided in travel logistics. She also led youth and prospect camp planning and execution.

Karamihas received a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2023.

She is a native of Gaithersburg, Md. and grew up a fan of the burgundy and gold.
