Mike Adams enters his 15th NFL season in 2024 as assistant video director for Washington. Adams is responsible for filming and editing all of Washington's games and practices in addition to working with the defense to create cutups and reports for upcoming opponents.
Adams started as an intern in the video department during the 2010 season before joining the staff on a full-time basis in 2011. Prior to joining Washington, he attended Howard University from 2005-10, where he played football for four years.
As a senior at Howard, he worked as a coaching assistant, handling video for the football team. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management. Adams also has a master's degree in sports industry management from Georgetown University.
In 2013, Adams started Driven By Our Ambitions (DBOA), a non-profit organization that merges football, academic and life skills for underprivileged youth. The organization has staged camps in Washington D.C. and Georgia in recent years, including participation from several Washington players and coaches. Adams is a native of Marietta, Georgia.
