Biography
Moses "MoSart" Rivera is an Afro-Latino artist born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He has been an artist since the age of 8 when he fell in love with drawing on paper envelopes to get the images out of his head. Even with a background of computer science, his passion always led him to art, unleashing it on various mediums including sketch, clothing, shoes and canvas, Mural and digital Graphics and laser cutting. In 2010, he moved to the Washington, D.C. area to start a family where he calls the DMV his home. In 2012, He helped start the brand "BeMoShe" which was born of a desire of fulfilling the lack of fashion for boys at that time. Now, it has evolved into a clothing company that focuses on the representation and empowerment of kids of color and uplifting black and brown children through the messages on their wearable art. You can find some of his art at The Wheaton Arts Gallery, murals in Chinatown D.C.,Black Lives Matter Plaza in Washington, D.C., &Pizza, Chinatown DC, Hedley elementary, KIPP DC, Burrville elementary, Neval Thomas DC amongst many places.
