Peter Picerelli enters his seventh season with Washington after joining the organization during the 2017 offseason. He was promoted to the role of college scout in the 2019 offseason after serving as a scouting assistant for two seasons. He will oversee the team's scouting operations in the Southwest region.
Picerelli joined Washington after having previously served as a personnel assistant at Boston College for the early portion of 2017. He had previously served as a quality control analyst at Brown University during the program's 2016 season.
He played collegiately at Tulane from 2012-15. In 2013, he was named a semifinalist for the Ray Guy Award, presented annually to the nation's top punter. He studied business law during his time at Tulane and also completed an internship with Alliance Sports Management Group. Picerelli is a native of Warren, Rhode Island.
