Trista Langdon is the Senior Vice President, Operations and Guest Experience for the Washington Commanders. A member of Washington's executive leadership team, Trista is responsible for ensuring an excellent end-to-end stadium experience for guests, partners, fans, and employees year-round. In this role she oversees all aspects of the stadium experience including guest services, security, technology, facilities, food and beverage, stadium maintenance and renovations, merchandise, new products, and innovations in the guest experience.
During a 16-year tenure with the Charlotte Hornets, Langdon held a series of roles in events and operations, starting as a manager, Arena operations in 2005, to most recently overseeing the entire department as Vice President, Arena Events and Operations. She was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 19,000 seat multipurpose Sports & Entertainment Facility and onsite practice facility as well as the operation point on all on Capital Improvement Projects, Building Renovations and Urban Development Planning. Langdon also oversaw arena renovations and rebranding when the Charlotte Bobcats were renamed the Charlotte Hornets. Additionally, Langdon is a founding member of the Hornet's Sports and Entertainment Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Council.
Throughout the pandemic, Langdon also led COVID recovery efforts and was the facility health and hygiene officer representative to the National Basketball Association, creating and executing building configurations and policies to stay in compliance with NBA Health and Safety Protocols and NBA Cleaning and Disinfecting Protocols.
Throughout her career, Langdon has been the point of contact and event manager for a multitude of major live events including 15 NBA Seasons, 10 CIAA Men's and Women's Championships, Four NCAA Men's Basketball Championships, the 2012 Democratic National Convention, 2019 NBA All-Star Game, and entertainers including Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Elton John, Billy Idol, Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, and more. She also has multiple decades of experience managing relationships and all back of house operations regarding contract obligations and budgets with concessions, restaurants, cleaning franchises, parking operations, city services, and health and safety organizations.
Langdon holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Nevada, Reno, where she was a member of the women's basketball team. She also holds a Master of Science in Park, Recreations and Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University and a DE&I in the Workplace certificate from USF Muma College of Business.
