After spending nine years in San Francisco and a brief stint in Denver, the former sixth overall pick decided to play for his hometown Washington Redskins before hitting free agency this offseason. Many thought the tight end on the wrong side of 30's career was over but he had quite a year with the Redskins' high powered offense in 2016. He finished with 44 catches and 583 yards. Vernon Davis was a leader in the Redskins locker room and can still contribute in the NFL.
