Describe what you do with the organization. What's your favorite part about what you do?

As a CRM analyst, my role is to connect the team with its fans on a personal level. I gather and analyze data to understand our diverse fanbase, create tailored strategies for engagement, and manage the CRM software that drives our interactions. By segmenting fans, profiling their preferences, and executing data-driven marketing campaigns, the goal is to enhance fan experiences, boost ticket sales, and foster long-lasting connections. My absolute favorite aspect of my role is the privilege of collaborating with the truly exceptional and dynamic Business Intelligence team.

What's a work-related accomplishment that you're really proud of?

In my brief tenure, I've achieved remarkable progress by strategically streamlining key processes, resulting in a remarkable boost to operational efficiency. These enhancements have not only refined our ability to cater to our dedicated fans but have also elevated their experience to unprecedented levels of satisfaction. By fine-tuning processes related to deposit conversions, implementing advanced marketing segmentation strategies, and seamlessly automating our renewal campaign close-out process, we've redefined customer relationship management. Furthermore, our collaborative efforts with alumni and community relations in enhancing CRM interfaces have solidified our commitment to delivering an unparalleled fan engagement experience.

What inspires you to come to work each day?

What fuels my daily passion and commitment to my role is the unique blend of professional fulfillment and personal fandom. As both a CRM analyst and a devoted fan of the Washington Commanders, every day is an opportunity to contribute to the success of the team I love. The chance to apply my expertise to strengthen the bond between the franchise and its fans is incredibly motivating. I'm not just coming to work; I'm contributing to the shared excitement and pride of our dedicated fanbase, and that's what inspires me every single day.

How has your heritage shaped who you are today?

My identity as a Black woman has been a profound and empowering force in shaping who I am today. It has instilled in me a strong cultural identity, resilience, and a commitment to social justice. Being a Black woman means embodying intersectionality, advocating for diversity and inclusion, and serving as a role model for others. These experiences have made me more empathetic, compassionate and passionate about fostering equity and empowerment in all aspects of life.

What does this month mean to you?

Black History Month holds great personal significance for me as a time to celebrate the remarkable contributions, resilience and heritage of Black individuals and communities. It serves as a reminder of the ongoing journey towards equality and social justice. As a Black woman, it inspires me to honor the past, amplify Black voices and work towards a future that embraces diversity and inclusion year-round.
