Commanders sign K Greg Joseph to practice squad

The Washington Commanders have signed veteran kicker Greg Joseph to the practice squad and released wide receiver Mike Strachan from the practice squad.

Joseph, a 2018 undrafted free agent from Florida Atlantic, has played in 73 games over the course of his six-year career. He has kicked for the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants. He has also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions.

Joseph has hit 82.5% of his field goals, including 69-of-70 from 39 yards and in, and 90.5% of his extra points.

Joseph was signed by the Giants off the Lions' practice squad on Sept. 17 and has kicked in six games this season. During that span, Joseph his 81.3% of his field goals and all six of his extra points.
