It might be hard to believe, but Twitter turned 10 years old today.
If you've used the application, it didn't start to pick up in popularity until about three years after it launched, hence most people's first experience with the social application began around 2010.
As most people are wont to do on an occasion like this, take a look at some of the Redskins' players and team's first tweets – some are properly welcoming, others completely random – and think about how far, or maybe how little, we've come as a tweeting nation.
