For more than 100 former Redskins players, coaches and team personnel, the team's annual alumni homecoming festivities are undoubtedly one of their favorite weekends of the year.
On Friday, a few Redskins alums got their homecoming festivities started off in style with a nice dinner at the Palm Restaurant in Washington, D.C.
Pictured above from left to right are former Redskins defensive back Jon Jaqua, quarterback Billy Kilmer, Sonny Jurgensen and his wife, Margo, Kilmer's wife, Sandy, and former team equipment manager Tommy McVean.
Jaqua, a Lewis and Clark product, played for the Washington Redskins as a cornerback/safety and kick returner from 1970 to 1972.
Kilmer played for the burgundy and gold from 1971 to 1978, completing 953-of-1791 passes for 12,352 yards and 103 touchdowns.
Jurgensen, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, played for the Redskins from 1964 to 1974. He completed 1,831-of-3,155 passes for 22,585 yards with 179 passing touchdowns in his career in Washington.
McVean, meanwhile, served as equipment manager with the Redskins from 1963 to 1977.
The alums continue the festivities Saturday with a playground build in the D.C. area before their alumni homecoming reception Saturday night.
On Sunday, the alums will be featured in a pregame parade around FedExField before taking a group photo on the field and being introduced prior to the game. At halftime, Redskins great center Jeff Bostic will be introduced into the team's Ring of Fame.
