"Man, it is the coolest thing in the world. I just achieved my lifelong goal in life and I get to play with one of my former teammates. It's a blessing."
On if he has talked to quarterback Robert Griffin III:
"I just text Robert, actually and I told him, 'What's the word? I'm still on the board,' and he said, 'Oh, for real?' And I was like, 'yes.'"
On how the Redskins envision using him:
"I don't know yet. I go to minicamp on Thursday so I'll figure out what's my role and how I'm going to be utilized."
On what the Redskins like about his game:
"I think I can say my speed and my toughness, being able to be a homerun threat."
On if he had any idea the Redskins were interested in him:
"Not exactly. I didn't know anything."
On how he feels he can catch the ball:
"I really feel I can catch the ball very, very well. I feel like I proved that in combine, I proved that in my pro day. I just feel like if you give me an opportunity, I know I'm going to utilize it. I'm going to do everything in my power to help the Redskins be an even better organization."
On if he knew the Redskins drafted Alfred Morris in the sixth round in 2012: "No sir, I did not know that."
