Redskins-Cowboys Most Watched Regular Season Game In Fox Sports History

It's always a huge deal when the Redskins and Cowboys play each other. Without question, it's one of *the *greatest rivalries, not just in the NFL, but in all of sports.

The latest installment in the Cowboys-Redskins series took place on Thanksgiving at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Tex. It was a game the Redskins fought valiantly in, but ultimately fell short by a 31-26 score.

It was a thrilling game, not only for the 93,099 fans inside the stadium, but for the millions who tuned in, as they were enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday with their families.

The folks over at Fox Sports tweeted out an incredible statistic about the game on Friday, saying that an average of 35.1 million people watched Washington and Dallas do battle on Thursday, making it the most watched regular season game in Fox Sports television history.

It'll be interesting to see what the television numbers will be should the Redskins and Cowboys meet down the line in the playoffs, when the stakes are even higher and it's win or go home.
