The Washington Redskins will face the seventh toughest schedule during the 2017 season, appearing in nine games against teams that finished with a .500 record or better last year. Washington will also appear in seven games against teams that made the playoffs.
The Redskins check in at No. 7 behind the entire AFC West (the Denver Broncos have the toughest schedule this year followed by the Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders) along with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.
Washington's opponents for this season finished with a combined record of 138-116-2.
The Redskins have four games against division champions from last year in the Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys (twice) along with fellow playoff entrants the Oakland Raiders and New York Giants (twice).
As for the rest of the NFC East, the Giants (ninth), Cowboys (10th) and Philadelphia Eagles (11th) also are in the top half of the league in terms of strength of schedule.
