Back in November, The Redskins Blog requested (see related link above) that fans try to confirm speculation that a Redskins helmet was visible for a brief moment in the movie "Dumb and Dumber To."
Well, four months later we finally got an answer.
Thanks to a fan, who happened to rewind and capture the clip, you can see the Redskins helmet in the back left of a convention hall behind the two female characters. Mystery solved.
Then, watching a different movie later that day, the same fan caught a second Redskins helmet on the screen.
This one is a little more challenging – and I'm not entirely sure it's a helmet – but you can see what looks to be a burgundy circle with the team logo on a small video board in the virtual city of the Oscar-winning animated film "Big Hero 6."
You can be the judge on that one.
We'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
