Arguably the most popular upgrade to the Redskins' new locker room at the Inova Sports Performance Center at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va., which greeted the team when it came back from training camp, has been the ping pong table.
Rarely has the entire team made it to the locker room after practice before a game has started, and currently the men ruling the table have been the specialists.
Punter Tress Way shared a video on Twitter Thursday morning of his fellow specialists, long snapper Nick Sundberg and kicker Dustin Hopkins, looking pretty handy with the table tennis paddle.
If you think that looks pretty serious, that's because it is. Way, Sundberg and Hopkins aren't messing around as they each have their own personalized case thanks to Killerspin.
Killerspin, a Chicago-based ping pong equipment company, has taken notice and will be sending the guys a new table to really get the competition going.
As Way pointed out, the trio has four years to prepare for the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where China's Ma Long will be defending his gold medal that he earned this summer's games in Rio.
The United States didn't have a player make it past the first round in men's singles in Rio this year, so maybe there's an opening for these three Redskins come 2020.
