At this point you know rap artist Wale is a diehard Redskins fan. At this point you know "Chillin" plays at least once during FedExField home games. At this point, you've seen his gold Redskins necklace and thought about getting one yourself.
But do you know why exactly Wale is a diehard Redskins fan?
He was born in Washington, D.C., and, as he describes in a new NFL video, remembers growing up watching games on Sunday.
"I wanted the Redskins to win because it was just a happier household," he says. "It's that little piece of nostalgia."
He then goes through a rolodex of quarterbacks that represented the burgundy and gold throughout the years, and no matter who has been there, "the Redskins have always been a big part of my life, my heart, and I always want them to do well."
