Over the offseason, The Redskins Blog has been providing you with a different look at the franchise's past.
Unlike Throwback Thursday where we've looked at important moments on the gridiron against an upcoming opponent, this series will examine some of the lighter moments as we go through all of the photos stored at Redskins Park in Loudoun County, Va.
If you're not aware, today is National High Five Day, a day started started in 2002 at the University of Virginia. A group of students set up shop on the main quad of the campus and gave out high-fives and lemonade.
According to the website, "the idea spread and over the years peoples of all ages and backgrounds have celebrated National High Five Day by giving high-fives all day to friends, co-workers and strangers."
Some of the greatest high fives in Redskins history (technically high-thirties) came from the "Fun Bunch," which included wide receivers Art Monk, Virgil Seay, Charlie Brown and Alvin Garrett along with tight end Rick Walker.
In this photo, taken after Garrett's four-yard touchdown catch in Super Bowl XVII against the Miami Dolphins on Jan. 30, 1983, the gang leapt for their signature celebration.
This time, running back Clarence Harmon wanted to participate, too.
