Redskins past and Redskins present were all together Monday morning, chatting about memories from the former and the future of the latter.
As the rest of the attendees were floating around, there was a group of offensive linemen all huddled together for an extended period of time.
Among them were Brandon Scherff, Arie Kouandjio, Austin Reiter, Jeff Bostic and Fred Dean.
For Scherff, a player many are hoping is a mainstay on the offensive line for years to come, it was a special moment.
"Just learning about 'The Hogs,' that's probably one of my favorites, and just meeting some of the guys," Scherff told Larry Michael, Voice of the Redskins. "Joe Jacoby – I thought I was a big guy, but he's an incredibly big man."
Reiter, meanwhile, got the chance to heed some advice from Bostic.
"It was really cool," he said. "I've definitely done my research about the players, 'The Hogs.' It was definitely a cool experience to get to meet him and talk to him for a little bit and everything he's gone through as a 14-year veteran. He's probably done everything he's wanted to do as far as a NFL career goes."
