The upcoming NFL Draft already made a big change when it moved its location to Chicago this year. It's adding another wrinkle, too, inviting former legendary football players -- the most it ever has -- to make their respective team's selections for Round 2.

Brig Owens, the former safety, will announce the selection for the Redskins, a team where he built an impressive resume that includes 36 interceptions.

Owens, a member of the "Washington Redskins Ring of Fame," played for the team from 1966-77, taking on an important role during the Redskins' run to Super Bowl VII in 1972.

Owens holds the record for most interception return yards in Redskins history (686) and is second all-time on the team in career interceptions.

The list of players scheduled to announce selections also includes six Pro Football Hall of Famers, with one from the Class of 2015.

Owens can now say he's made some new Redskins history: This year will mark the most former players participating in draft events, as another 19 former players will be attending.
