Chris Baker is entering the final year of his contract with the Redskins this season, and while it's reasonable to believe that he and the team will explore options for an extension, it seemed Baker wanted to make sure they were on the same page, especially in lieu of cornerback Josh Norman signing a big contract on Friday.
So he took things into his own hands Monday afternoon, speaking into the microphone to close out general manager Scot McCloughan's pre-draft press conference. After letting the room get quiet, Baker then figured out his question.
"Guys would like to know, is there any more money left for guys like Chris Baker?"
"I got you Bake, you'll be alright," McCloughan responded.
