Chris Canty named Preston Smith a future NFL sack master in his list of five breakout pass rushers for 2016 on "NFL HQ" on Wednesday.
Canty, who played 11 NFL seasons at defensive end, including a stint with the Cowboys and a Super Bowl run with the Giants, praised Smith's physical frame. Standing at 6-foot-5 and weighing 268 pounds, Smith knows how to use his 34-inch arms to his advantage.

"Not a quick twitch guy, but he's a technician," Canty said. "Excellent hands, he uses his great long arms. He's surgical with that chop club, it's money when he brings it out."
Smith, whose eight sacks last season led all NFL rookies, figures to see an increased role this season after Junior Galette suffered another Achilles injury.
"(Smith) is definitely understanding how to rush at this level," Canty said.
