In anticipation of the 2024 NFL Draft, which will be held April 24 - 26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, here's a compilation of various league experts' predictions about what the Washington Commanders will do with the No. 29 overall pick. Check back weekly until the draft for more updates.

Expert: Brent Sobleski, Bleacher Report

Selection: Matthew Golden, WR, Texas (April 24)

  • Analysis: The Washington Commanders are acquiring pieces to complete their offense akin to Thanos claiming each of the infinity stones to create the all-powerful Infinity Gauntlet. This offseason, Washington has added wide receiver Deebo Samuel and left tackle Laremy Tunsil to address two of its biggest need areas. And Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden creates even more opportunities in the pass game for the reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Expert: Peter Schrager, ESPN

Selection: Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M (April 23)

  • Analysis: Stewart slipping this far? It could happen. He'd make a lot of sense for the Commanders given how their run defense performed in the NFC Championship Game.

Expert: Field Yates and Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN

Selection: Trade with Cleveland Browns (April 24)

  • Analysis: The Commanders are in a good spot, having turned their roster around quickly. Moving down for another pick and still landing a good prospect at the top of the second round would be good business. My top three needs for them are edge rusher, cornerback and running back.

Expert: Pete Prisco, CBS Sports

Selection: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas (April 24)

  • Analysis: The Commanders would like to add another corner or safety and Barron can do both, according to some scouts. He has a Brian Branch feel to his game.

Expert: Daniels Jeremiah, NFL.com

Selection: Jahdae Barron, CB, Texas (April 23)

  • Analysis: The Commanders get an heir apparent to Zach Ertz at tight end. In 2026 and beyond, a pairing of Warren and 2024 draftee Ben Sinnott would be a blast over the middle and after the catch for Jayden Daniels.

Expert: Jacob Camenker, USA Today

Selection: Maxwell Hairston, CB, Kentucky (April 24)

  • *Analysis:* The Commanders traded for Marshon Lattimore ahead of the 2024 NFL trade deadline but could still use depth and talent in their secondary. Hairston blazed a 4.28 40 at the NFL combine and demonstrated great ball skills at Kentucky, making him an ideal fit here.

Expert: Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk

Selection: Shavon Revel Jr., CB, East Carolina (April 23)

  • Analysis: N/A

Expert: Albert Breer, Sports Illustrated

Selection: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina (April 24)

  • Analysis: Dan Quinn gets his Kam Chancellor, with a lot of options off the table for the Commanders. I could see, among others, Henderson, Conerly, Texas A&M edge Nic Scourton or even East Carolina CB Shavon Revel Jr. being considered here.

Expert: Dan Parr, NFL.com

Selection: Donovan Ezeiruaku, EDGE, Boston College (April 24)

  • Analysis: Washington fills its most pressing need with a player Dan Quinn could mold into a Pro Bowl-caliber pass rusher.
