While the Daytona 500 isn't too far off, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is still keeping tabs on his beloved Washington Redskins as the NASCAR season nears.
Earnhardt Jr., who first became a Redskins fan on his ninth birthday when he received a Redskins uniform for his birthday, has his own thoughts on the draft as it approaches.
After a season in which the Redskins' offensive line cut down their sack total in half, Earnhardt Jr. believes Washington should potentially make a growing strength even better.
If the opportunity to take a pass rusher presents itself, too, perhaps the Redskins should snag one in the first round.
Last year, the Redskins, of course, selected University of Iowa guard Brandon Scherff with the No. 5-overall pick.
Scherff was recently selected to PFWA’s All-Rookie Team.
