Dale Earnhardt Jr. will be driving in the backyard of Redskins Nation this Sunday.
He'll continue his NASCAR points chase with the No. 88 car when he gears up for the Dover 400 at Dover International Speedway, which just happens to be 88 miles away (using Google Maps) from FedExField. How fitting.
After finishing in third place at the Coca-Cola 600, Earnhardt Jr. enters the race ranked 4th in the Sprint Cup Series points standings with 401 points for the 2015 season. He is six points behind Joey Logano for third.
Before last week's race, Earnhardt Jr. even re-affirmed his devotion the Redskins.
