As good as Redskins wide receiver Jamison Crowder and cornerback Bashaud Breeland are on a football field, they're about to show how well they can manage a softball team.
Jackson, Breeland and their respective teams will square off at the 4th Annual Amputee Warrior Softball Classic on Saturday, June 11th, at Prince George's Stadium in Bowie, Md. The stadium gates will open at 6 p.m., and the game will start at 7 p.m., played rain or shine.
Members of the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team will be featured at the game, which is made up of amputee veterans who have fought through severe injuries and regained their athleticism.
Other Redskins players who are expected to attend include linebacker Will Compton, nose tackle Kedric Golston and wide receiver Jamison Crowder.
Fans can purchase tickets for the event at www.baysox.com. General admission tickets are $18, while tickets for military members are $15. There are also group discounts available.
All proceeds from the event will benefit veterans' charities.
