The Redskins running game spun its wheels for most of Monday night against the Cowboys, but during a field goal drive in the third quarter, running back Matt Jones fired off a couple of productive runs.
Chris Cooley details one of them here, a nine-yard gain to the right that saw every offensive lineman locking into their block.
"A lot of people say Josh LeRibeus can't get it done at center," Cooley says. "I think you're wrong, because Josh LeRiebus just moved a defensive tackle seven yards laterally and opened up a huge gap for Matt Jones."
Cooley also points out the Trent Williams cut block that opens up another lane option for Jones.
"This is how you successfully run though," he says. "You get a body on a body, and you get a couple guys winning."
