Hey 'Skins Nation!
One of your rookie cheerleaders here and I just got back from an amazing first Calendar Trip in Cozumel, Mexico at the Occidental Grand Resort. I can truly say I had the time of my life.The resort was beautiful and the sites were absolutely breathtaking.
On the morning of my photo shoot I had the opportunity to watch and help out some of my fellow teammates' photoshoots. Even though my shoot was later that evening, my nerves had already hit me, but I couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful everyone looked.
Our hair and makeup teams did a phenomenal job getting all the ladies glammed up for their shoots.
One of my favorite parts of the whole trip was seeing all the different Washington Redskins Cheerleaders walk down to their shoots with their hair pinned up in curls and their make-up perfected, looking as gorgeous as ever and excited to find out their photo shoot locations.
When my time came later that afternoon to hit the hair and makeup room, I was relieved to have my squad buddy and a few of my rookie teammates by my side helping me make sure I had everything I needed.
After me and the rest of the girls were ready to get in front of the camera, we went over to a neighboring resort to shoot at some absolutely beautiful locations.
I was the first photo shoot of the evening and had the honor of shooting at a gorgeous waterfall pool with cabanas, palm trees and the crystal blue ocean in the background.
Having all of my teammates, directors, photography crew and glam squad around me was such a great feeling.
I had a first-hand look into all of the hard work that goes into creating our amazing calendar. The photography crew worked so hard at capturing the perfect shots with the perfect lighting and settings, the hair and makeup artists were so talented at enhancing the natural beauty of all of the girls and the directors knew the perfect adjustments needed to make a picture go from great to fabulous.
I couldn't have asked for a better experience than being in Cozumel, Mexico for a whole week to shoot the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders 2015-2016 Calendar! When you see it I think you will be amazed.
