Did you miss new defensive lineman Stephen Paea's Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) today? Not to fear.
The Redskins Blog has a recap of answers that range from his thoughts on the NFC East, the NFL expanding to London, the biggest meal he's ever eaten, plus several more.
On what he's looking forward to being in a new city:
There's a lot of history in this city. Coming here from the islands, Tonga, at the age of 17 and studying U.S. history and talking about the presidents and all that. When I first came here that's what I noticed first; the history.**
On which opponent he's excited to face in the NFC East:
I don't like either. Growing up I was an Eagles fan, but I went to Oregon State. I don't like Chip Kelly. And I never liked [Tony] Romo or their O-Line.
On being welcomed by other teammates before training camp:
The first one to text me and congratulate me was RGIII. Coming from him, man that was respect. I've known Ryan Kerrigan. I'm excited for this locker room.
On whether he thinks the NFL expanding to London is a good thing:
I love it. I played there my rookie year when I was with Chicago. It feels like you're in a Pro Bowl because everyone is wearing different jerseys. There's no better feeling than to spread football around the world. I hope they do it in other places, too.
On how much he's ever eaten during one sitting:
I ate a 52 ounce steak at one time, which is the most I've ever eaten. There's a Fuddruckers in Utah where I ate a 1-lb burger in high school.
On his favorite Superheroes:
The Incredibles.
On if his combine record of 49 reps of 225 pounds is his personal best"
Yeah. That's my best.
On bringing the Haka to the Redskins:
Of course. I'm bringing the Haka to D.C.
