For the second straight week, the Washington Redskins will be without one player – as of now – heading into Sunday's home opener against the Indianapolis Colts, as safety Troy Apke has been listed out with a hamstring injury.

Apke suffered the injury late in the Cardinals game on a punt return, in which he made a touchdown saving tackle. The strain has kept him from the practice field for the entire week – he's rehabbed on the side field Wednesday through Friday – which is one of the reasons the Redskins called up defensive back Kenny Ladler from the practice squad.

Last week wide receiver Maurice Harris was ruled out for the season opener dealing with the concussion he sustained against the Jets in the preseason. He participated in practice each day this week in a limited capacity, and his status is questionable heading into Sunday.

Harris told reporters he was cleared from concussion protocol to practice, but just wants to be safe about his return and make sure the headaches and fogginess that he's experienced are gone.

"I'm cleared from the protocol but it's more about how I'm feeling , if I'm 100 percent," Harris said. "We haven't made a decision yet, it's up to the coaches, I'll let them handle it and just try to go out there and do everything I can."

"He has to practice on a limited basis and then he has to continue to talk to the doctors and the trainers and find out where he's at and that goes until next morning and afternoon, until he's officially, officially cleared, which he hasn't really been," Gruden said. "He's been cleared to participate [in practice]."

Gruden didn't expand too much on the remaining list of injuries, but for the first time this week wide receiver Paul Richardson Jr.'s named showed up.

After not participating in practice on Friday, he is questionable with a shoulder injury, which he sustained against the Cardinals, though Gruden didn't seem too concerned about his status for Sunday.

"He's got an AC joint issue and then he landed on it last week in the game a little bit and aggravated it," Gruden said. "So, it's kind of been bothering him for some time."

The same goes for Morgan Moses, who has had limited participation each day this week, with a knee injury that had been bothering throughout the week.
