All season long, quarterback Kirk Cousins hooked up with wide receiver Jamison Crowder. The rookie wide receiver broke Art Monk's rookie record for receptions (59) and accumulated 604 receiving yards. It was a solid first campaign.
To return the favor in some ways, Crowder, a Duke product, hooked up his quarterback with a tour of Cameron Indoor STadium, the Blue Devils' basketball arena. Cousins was heading down to Atlanta, Ga., so Durham, N.C. was a perfect pit stop.
Crowder played basketball in high school, so the hardwood is right down his alley. In an abbreviated game of HORSE, otherwise known as PIG, it was Cousins, however, that ended up the victor.
Cousins gets the swish to seal it, while Crowder's ball nearly misses and rattles off the rim. Both have pretty good form. For a moment, Cousins could pretend the Duke faithful chanted his name. Just as long as he wasn't playing against Michigan State.
