I'm not sure if Jeron Johnson and Silas Redd Jr. knew they were sitting just a few sections apart from each other at the Verizon Center Wednesday night.
But a common bond brought them, and the sold-out crowd in attendance, together. And it wasn't the fact that it was just another Wizards home game.
No, it was Kobe Bryant's night, the second game of his recently dubbed farewell tour after the five-time NBA champion made the announcement earlier this week he'd be retiring after this season.
His first stop in Philadelphia, his hometown, didn't go very smooth on the court. But Wednesday night was a different story. He scored a team-high 31 points and made a late minute jumper that both Redd Jr. and Johnson were able to capture on their phones.
Have fun trying to sync them up and watch the last strains of Bryant's greatness carry the ball into the net. Then briefly watch a bizarrely Wizards crowd go nuts for for the Lakers' -- but really Bryant's -- success.
