Bobby Beathard, elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a contributor this year, has selected his presenter for this summer in Canton, Ohio.
Redskins Hall of Fame head coach Joe Gibbs will do the honors and introduce his former general manager, the architect that crafted two Super Bowl-winning teams under his watch.
"We were together so long, so I think he knows more about me and what I did in football," Beathard said via the Hall of Fame.
The presenters join the enshrinees on stage at the Enshrinees' Gold Jacket Dinner on Friday, Aug. 3 at the Canton Memorial Civic Center. Members of the Class of 2018 will be greeted by a gauntlet of living Hall of Famers.
Gibbs will then place the Hall of Fame Gold Jacket on Beathard in what promises to be a special night.
