As ABC-7 entertainment reporter Kidd O'Shea sat down to interview Roseanne Barr and John Goodman for the duo's nostalgic return next week to the revived "Roseanne" show, he mentioned that he works in Washington, D.C.
Apparently, that's all Goodman needed to hear.
The long-time actor famous for his roles in The Big Lebowski and Argo, to name a couple, began singing the opening line of "Hail To The Redskins," which prompts a confused look from Barr.
Goodman himself played football in high school but couldn't make the Missouri State football team as a walk-on and opted for the theater department. He's a self-professed Saints fan, but clearly the Redskins' fight song has rented a room in his subconscious.
