Josh Norman loves his hometown of Greenwood, S.C., and his hometown loves him back.
The city loves Norman so much that they wanted Mayor Welborn Adams to give Norman a key to the city and declare it "Josh Norman Day." It took a little bit of time, but Adams finally abided with the citizens' request, and gave Norman their request, as part of "Josh Norman Fun Day in the Park," which was held on Saturday at the Brewer Rec Center in Greenwood.
Mayor Adams was so excited about the event and Norman's return, that he made a video about it.
Norman was so touched by Mayor Adams' video, that he took to Twitter and expressed himself via emojis.
The city of Greenwood gave a lot to Norman with the key and the day, but Norman turned right around and gave back to the city. He brought his horses from his nearby farm and let kids and families ride, too.
What a great start to the weekend for Norman and the great people of Greenwood!
