Give quarterback Trent Williams credit.
After signing his Franchise tender on Thursday morning, Cousins was greeted by a drug tester at his in-law's home on Friday. And, in his typical fashion, he made a potentially embarrassing and private matter into an amusing and public one.
From his Sqor post:
Drug Test Diaries: My inevitable off-season drug test occurred this morning with a knock on my door at 6:45 am.
The tester's last words to me before the collection: "You can't give me too much".
The final curveball was a leaky beaker which forced a re-fill. You can only imagine the mess created at my in-laws home. #DrugFreeSport #JustSayNO
Cousins has hopefully curried enough favor with his in-laws that the mess shouldn't be too much of an issue.
This is nothing new from Cousins. Three years ago he tweeted about taking a drug test at his grandmonther's home.
Last year he also documented the occasion.
The off-season drug testing protocol continues to amaze me! Got invited to the tester's home this time: Knocked on the door, introduced myself, peed in his bathroom while he watched, talked corvettes, then left. Totally weird, but great hospitality & I love a drug free sport!
At least this year there was no awkward conversation.
