Redskins linebacker London Fletcher was inducted into the Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School Hall of Champions on Tuesday, but he was far from the only big name there.
Joining him at the Cleveland private school enshrinement ceremony were other football and wrestling legends – Desmond Howard, Elvis Grbac, Mike Golic, Bob Golic and Clark Kellogg, who all joined the undefeated 1969 St. Joseph football team and the late Coach Bill Gutbrod as honorary inductees.
The honorees were inducted into a newly established hall that recognizes the tradition of the school's athletic excellence that spans more than six decades.
Each honoree received a red blazer – as you can see above – and a roundtable discussion with each of them wrapped up the event.
"From the moment I walked through the doors here my life changed," Fletcher told Cleveland.com. "This place helped shape me into the man I am today."
Fletcher won varsity letters in both football and basketball in high school, which included two state championship basketball teams. He got a spot on the St. Francis (Pa.) University basketball team before ultimately landing at Divison III John Carroll University to pursue a football career.
