LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Associated Press announced today that WR Terry McLaurin, LB Bobby Wagner, LB Frankie Luvu and KR Austin Ekeler were named Second Team All-Pro.

McLaurin is the first Washington wide receiver to earn All-Pro honors since Santana Moss (Second Team All-Pro in 2005). Wagner and Luvu are the first Washington linebackers to earn All-Pro honors since London Fletcher (Second Team All-Pro in 2012). KR Austin Ekeler is the first Washington kickoff returner to earn All-Pro honors since Brian Mitchell (First Team All-Pro in 1995 and Second Team All-Pro in 1994 and 1991).

LB Bobby Wagner and LB Frankie Luvu are the first pair of Washington linebackers to be selected All-Pro in the same season in franchise history. With his 11th All-Pro honor, Wagner passed Ray Lewis (10 All-Pro selections) for the most AP All-Pro selections by an inside linebacker in NFL history.

Washington has four players selected AP All-Pro this season, which is the most since 1991. In 1991 the team had nine All-Pro players. First Team: CB Darrell Green and T Jim Lachey. Second Team: QB Mark Rypien, RB Earnest Byner, WR Gary Clark, DE Charles Mann, OLB Wilbur Marshall, KR Brian Mitchell and K Chip Lohmiller.

McLaurin finished the regular season with 82 receptions for 1,096 receiving yards and a career-high 13 touchdowns. His 13 scores were second in the NFL, the most in the NFC and set Washington's single-season franchise record for receiving touchdowns. McLaurin eclipsed 1,000 yards for the fifth consecutive season and joined Kansas City's Travis Kelce as the only other active player to have 75-plus receptions and 1,000 receiving yards in five consecutive campaigns. McLaurin recorded four multi-receiving touchdown games, tied with Tampa Bay's Mike Evans for the second-most in the NFL and the most in the NFC. From Week's 12 to 18, McLaurin had seven receiving touchdowns, including touchdowns in four consecutive games, the longest streak of his career. His seven receiving scores are tied for the most in the NFL during that span. This is the first time in McLaurin's career that he has received All-Pro honors.

Wagner finished the season with a team high 132 total tackles (75 solo), two sacks, four passes defensed, 10 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, and two fumbles recovered. Wagner's 132 tackles are the most by a Washington linebacker since Cole Holcomb in 2021 (142) and ranks 8th in the NFC this season. This marks Wagner's 11th All-Pro selection which is the most amongst all active NFL players and tied for the second most all-time. Wagner ranks 4th all-time in combined tackles with 1,838 and tied London Fletcher as the only linebackers who have recorded at least 100 tackles in 13 consecutive seasons.

Luvu finished the season with 99 total tackles, a career-high eight sacks, 14 quarterback hits, 12 tackles for loss and seven passes defensed. His eight sacks ranked 13th among all other linebackers in the NFL, second on the team and was the most a Washington linebacker has had in a single season since Ryan Kerrigan in 2018 (OLB Dante Fowler Jr. also accomplished the feat this year). He also added two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and an interception. This is the first time in his career that he has earned All-Pro honors.

Ekeler finished third in the NFL with 594 kickoff return yards on 19 total returns in 12 games. His 31.3 yards per return average also ranked third among players with at least 15 kickoff returns this season. Prior to the 2024 season, Ekeler had five total kickoff returns over the course of his seven-year stint in Los Angeles. In Week 3 against Cincinnati, Ekeler returned a kick 62 yards, his season-high, to open the second half and help Washington win on Monday Night Football for the first time since Week 10, 2022. The 62-yard return was the second longest kickoff return in the league this season of any non-touchdown return.
