The National Championship Game between Villanova and North Carolina certainly did not disappoint Monday night, as the two schools duked it out in one of the best championship games in NCAA history.
With neither team getting much of a lead throughout the game, it came down to the wire, with North Carolina's Marcus Paige hitting a game-tying three pointer with 4.7 seconds left before Villanova's Kris Jenkins of Upper Marlboro, Md., nailed a game-winning three pointer at the buzzer to give the Wildcats the victory.
It was the first buzzer beater to win a National Championship since 1983.
