The "Talk Of Fame Sports Network" recently added a new poll to their website asking fans to vote for the football team they thought was the best to have never won a Super Bowl.
The 1983 Redskins are currently in the lead over three contenders: the 2007 Patriots, the 1990 Bills and the 1969 Vikings.
That specific Redskins team was an offensive juggernaut, tallying more than 6,000 yards and became, at the time, the first to score more than 500 points in the regular-season. The defense also ranked first in interceptions (34).
Legendary quarterback Joe Theismann earned MVP honors that season and Pro Football Hall of Fame running back John Riggins turned in a career year, rushing for 1,347 yards and 24 touchdowns.
The team went 14-2 for the season but ended up falling to the Raiders 38-9 in Super Bowl XVIII.
Make sure you vote and represent that incredible year of play.
