"How 'bout those Redskins!"
Those were the famous words former Dallas Mavericks guard Darrell Armstrong told the home fans in 2005.
Why?
Well just hours earlier his Redskins scored a huge 35-7 divisional victory over the Cowboys.
Fast forward 10 years later, and Armstrong is still in the Dallas area serving as a Mavericks assistant coach.
But his support for the burgundy and gold remains.
Earlier this morning, wide receiver Pierre Garçon posted on Instagram a reminder that his annual All White party will take place on Thursday, June 4.
Embedded in the comment section of the post is a shout out from Armstrong.
"@pierregarcon good morning bro and that great what you doing!! I'm a Dallas Mavericks assistant coach and ex NBA ball player!! I was inducted into the boy and girl hall of fame when I played in Orlando for the magic!! Love to see athletes get into The community and use there talent that they have not only on the field or court but in the community!! Keep doing your thang bro, kids needs this support!!!" he wrote.
