Entrenched as a starting inside linebacker just three years after going through his first training camp as a rookie college free agent out of Nebraska, Compton is now the defense's vocal leader. He isn't shy in barking right back at quarterback Trent Williams when the first-team offense and first-team defense square off in practice.
