Perhaps it's no coincidence, but several Redskins players were spotted Wednesday night at the Verizon Center in downtown Washington, D.C., to watch the hometown Washington Wizards take on the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers, of course, feature superstar LeBron James. But we all know James is a Cowboys fan, and he even went so far as to publicly voice his support for the Green Bay Packers this weekend in their 2015 NFC Wild Card matchup against the Redskins at FedExField.
We've always thought Kevin Durant was the better player, anyway.
Regardless, the Redskins -- who have put on some impressive displays in their NFC East championship season -- were looking for a show Wednesday evening, and got one courtesy of John Wall & Co.
Those in attendance included Preston Smith, Jamison Crowder, Terrance Knighton, Frank Kearse and Trent Williams.
Here's a look at the Redskins/Wizards social buzz Wednesday night:
Speaking of John Wall, be sure to vote for the former Kentucky star to be an NBA All-Star this season. Users must post a status from their accounts that includes the hashtag #NBAVote and the first and last name of the player, so in this case "#NBAVote John Wall."
Let's get D.C. represented across the sports world.
